Get connected to rsf systems
Below is the information and instructions to activate your parent and student Schoology accounts as well as instructions to sign into Zoom for distance learning. Schoology is our new learning management system to replace Canvas for grades 3-8. You should have received an email with the specific information for your child below. Please email jsoltani@rsf.k12.ca.us if you have difficulties.

PLEASE NOTE- PARENTS AND STUDENTS WILL NOT SEE COURSES IN SCHOOLOGY UNTIL THE FIRST DAY OF INSTRUCTION (August 23, 2021) BUT THEY CAN ACTIVATE THEIR ACCOUNTS NOW.
Parent Instructions:
1) Go to www.schoology.com
2) Select SIGN UP and select Parent
3) Enter the Access Code above for your child
4) Enter your first name, last name, email address, and a password you would like to use
5) Uncheck the box for the subscription to the Schoology blog if you prefer
6) Check the box to agree to the terms and policy and select Register

Student Instructions for iPad:
1) Open the Schoology app
2) For Find Your School or Domain, type Rancho Santa and then select Rancho Santa Fe School District from the list that self populates
3) Select Log in through your School
4) Enter the student Google email address from above and select Next
5) Enter the Google password from above and select Next
6) For the Schoology iOS Authorization, select Approve

Reviewing and Submitting Assignments
Zoom Instructions for student iPads:
1) Select "Sign In"
2) SELECT THE GOOGLE OPTION AT THE BOTTOM
3) Select Continue
(if there are other accounts listed and your child's is not one of them, select Use another account)
4) Enter the student's school issued email address from above and select Next
5) Enter the student's password from above and select Next
6) If prompted, scroll down and select Accept for the Google policy
7) If prompted, select View Detail
8) If prompted, select continue
9) You may see a message saying "Zoom wants to use Zoom.us to sign in", select Continue
10) If prompted for Update Account Information, select Consolidate Into Account, scroll down a little and select Continue
11) Select Start Zoom
