K-5
The K–5 art program offers students from kindergarten through fifth grade a progressive and exploratory experience in the visual arts. It encourages self-expression, visual literacy, and hands-on learning through a variety of media and cultural contexts.
Intro to Art
An introductory Art course where students will experience all the different art elements. Students will explore color theory, printmaking, ceramics, along with many more art materials.
Craft & Design
A visual art class focused on creating more with your hands and less with a pencil. Focus will be on Fiber Arts, Collage, Papier Mache and Printmaking. Projects range from larger than life papier mache food sculptures to designing and printing your own greeting cards.
Ceramics
An introduction to clay. This class focuses solely on clay and all projects will be constructed from clay in class. Students will learn the basics from rolling slabs, pinch pots and creating coils. Projects range from pumpkins & ghosts in the fall, landscapes and cacti in the spring.
