Meet the Rancho Santa Fe School Board! We would love to hear from you and have provided our emails below.

The Board of Trustees is a group of five elected school district residents. They are volunteers who serve for a term of four years. School Board elections are held every two years with two seats open in the first, and three seats open in the subsequent election. Here are the current members:

- Scot Cheatham was elected to the Board in 2006 and is currently serving as the President of the Board. Scot and his wife, Aileen, moved to the area in 1994. They have four children who either attended, or are currently attending, our school. Scot graduated from Principia College with a degree in Economics, and he is currently President of EOS International, a software company in Carlsbad. Scot served on the County's Regional Economic Task Force and has been a regular or substitute organist at a number of the County's churches.

- Jim Depolo filled a partial term for two years starting March 2003 and was elected to the Board in November 2005. He is now serving as Vice President of the Board. Jim and his wife, Laurel, have one son currently attending the RSF school. They both enjoy working at the school and are actively involved as leaders in the local Cub Scout Pack. Jim is an engineer, holds an MBA, and is a local businessman.

- Richard and his wife, Natasha, have a son, James, currently at the school in 4th grade. They saw their two girls, Camille and Olivia, graduate from RSF in 2006, and their son, Charlie, in 2007. Richard is a retired venture capitalist and investment banker. Richard was elected to the Board in November 2004 and 2008 and is currently serving as Clerk.

- Jim Cimino was elected to the Board in November 2008. Jim Cimino is the executive vice president and regional managing director of the Southwest Region of Wells Fargo Wealth Management Group. Dr. Cimino was awarded a PhD from the University of California, Berkeley and earned a Masters of Business Administration degree in Finance and Security Analysis from the University of California, Los Angeles Anderson Graduate School of Management. Dr. Cimino resides in Rancho Santa Fe, California with his wife, Carey, and two children, Tess and James, who are currently enrolled at the school. He is on the board of directors for the Barrio Logan College Institute, the California Trust for Public Land, the San Diego Museum of Art, the Scripps Stevens Cancer Center and the University of California, San Diego Scripps Institute of Oceanography.

- Carlie Headapohl was elected to the Board in 2006. She and her husband, Will, have one son currently enrolled at the school. She has been actively involved in the school and the community since she moved to RSF in 2001. She has over 20 years of finance experience as a former investment banker and senior executive of a public real estate corporation.
