Many of you have seen the monthly curriulum plans posted in your child's classroom window. These are now available for you as parents to view or download. The next time you ask your child what they are working on in school and get the reply "nothing," you will know better! Hopefully this information allows you to initiate a conversation with your child and better understand the concepts and topics covered at each grade level.
We are happy to announce the Parent Portal is now active for parents and guardians who have registered email addresses with our district. Within the Portal you will find your child’s schedule, classes, current school year report card, and attendance information. Parents of Middle School students will also have access to the grade book.
On Wednesday, 9/7/11 parents/guardians with a school registered email address received an e-mail with the Parent Portal registration information. The e-mail contains registration information, a user name, initial password, and instructions. If you did not receive a Parent Portal registration e-mail, please visit the school office in person to update your child’s Emergency Card contact information to include an email address. Once your child’s Emergency Card contact information inlcudes an e-mail address, you will receive an email with the Parent Portal registration information. Use the 'For Parents' menu above to access the portal.
We will happily process your recommendation forms for private schools. Please complete the name, grade, and teacher name portion on each recommendation form. Please download and print the student information sheet attached below and submit it along with your recommendation forms to Marsha Portugal in the school office. Completed forms along with all requested items will be mailed directly to the private school. Please plan ahead, as this process may take anywhere from two to four weeks depending on the quantity of recommendations being processed.
